Duo no. 10 from K. 487 is an Andante transmitted by the later edition, without a counterpart in Mozart’s autograph. Its authenticity is disputed. The practice of playing it on two horns is nevertheless well established, and the page offers clear work on legato tone, tuning and melodic relay.
