The document transmits a fragment of a Fantasia in C major, not a finished work. A supple motif circulates between the voices while the bass supports regular contrapuntal progressions. The music therefore establishes genuine continuity, but the page breaks off before a complete form or conclusion can be established.

Imitations, suspensions and harmonic progression can be followed, but inventing a final cadence or announcing a total duration would be misleading. The last preserved bar should be heard as a documentary boundary, not as an ending composed by Bach.
