The finale’s refrain arrives without ceremony and immediately establishes its rhythmic spring. Accents and silences give it an almost theatrical character; piano episodes move away from it, then a familiar fragment is enough to announce its return.

Molto allegro requires speed, but above all a clear hierarchy. Distinguish the main motif from passing notes and listen to handovers among soloist, strings and woodwinds. Without that circulation, the rondo becomes a uniform succession of runs.

Practise the accents first at a moderate tempo with a regular pulse. The piano can lighten the ends of groups to release the orchestral reply. In the coda, retain some dynamic margin: an increase of energy must not become a rush in tempo.
