About this work
The second version redistributes the same Bach material and changes the physical sensation of the polyphony. A voice moves from one hand to the other, selected chords gain density and points of support shift.
Compare the entries with those in the first version before choosing fingering. The continuity of a line matters more than the immediate comfort of a position; mark the notes that need to survive a change of hand.
Balance the voices at a quiet dynamic, then gradually increase the sound. If the inner texture becomes massive, the counterpoint disappears; a directed bass and clear phrase endings provide enough structure.
