Innocence develops a light right hand over a very simple accompaniment. The melody should remain supple even through quick changes of finger. Practise the semiquavers in short groups and keep the wrist free to avoid unintended accents.

The repeats provide an immediate way to compare two phrasings or fingerings. Let each cadence breathe without allowing the pulse to lose its direction. Listen for a natural return of the theme, then check that dynamics and slurs remain consistent when the fingering changes.
