Inquiétude lives up to its name: the right hand strings together semiquaver cells broken by rests, while the left hand answers with short chords. This agitated motion stays clear when every rest truly releases the sound and harmonic changes leave the pulse undisturbed.
Give the rests their full place
Practise the right hand in four-note cells, treating the following rest as a gesture in its own right. Then add the left-hand chords without holding them. As the phrase rises, increase intensity by degrees instead of accelerating; the return to piano will retain its tension.
