25 Easy Studies, Op. 100: La Petite Réunion
About this work
La Petite Réunion brings together two C-major characters: a supple opening led by the left hand, then answering chords with greater momentum. The main challenge is to change roles without changing pulse, so the accompaniment remains as lively as the brilliant writing.
Prepare each change of character
Practise the descending chords first, releasing the hand after every attack. In the connected passages, sing the left-hand line and keep the right-hand chords lighter. The repeats test whether the right touch returns immediately without pushing the motif ahead.
Bas Wassink engraved this edition from the Collection Litolff source; the Mutopia Project distributes it in the public domain. The one-page PDF retains fingering, repeats, dynamics and articulation. Its MIDI clarifies the changing roles before you explore more piano scores on LesPartitions.info.
