From the first bar, the right hand surrounds the melody of Sonata K. 331 with continuous motion. Important notes are not always the highest ones: they form an inner line that the semiquavers should illuminate rather than cover.

Reduce each figure to its points of arrival and play that framework alone. Then restore the intervening notes in small groups with a free wrist. In the second section, watch the bass: it becomes more active and can easily thicken the cadences.

At a moderate tempo, the passage should already feel like one gesture without jolts between positions. Use the repeats to alter colour or dynamics, not to hurry the motion. The MIDI file checks the sequence; articulation, ornaments and layout are read from the PDF.
