About this work

The sixth variation turns the theme of Sonata K. 331 into a lively Allegro. Rapid runs alternate with chords and exchanges between the hands. Practise the semiquaver groups without pedal first, giving the structural notes slightly more presence than the passing notes.

The repeats make it possible to settle each section before increasing the tempo. The MIDI file helps track the pulse and transitions; the PDF retains the articulation, dynamics and layout of the engraving.
