The second prelude concentrates a light agitation in highly mobile figures. Accents do not always coincide with the visible outline; the phrase changes direction before the hand has time to settle.

Locate the upper line and bass stresses within the continuous motion. They provide a musical map that prevents every note from receiving the same intensity.

Practise in small groups connected to their arrival with a free wrist. Pedal needs to remain brief: it colours a harmony but must not blur rapid changes of articulation.
